The Unbearable Lightness of Being

I slept less than 5 hours. We was going to leave at 10 am. but for some reason we left at noon. It was a hot and sunny day, perfect to swim so when we got the weekend house I went to the pool with the kids. Almost noone there, it was perfect!!! We stayed in the pool for 2 hours, then we went to have pizza for lunch and we came back to the pool 2 more hours. My sister and my mother joined us this time.

I was taking pics of vanellus chilensis birds when I saw a lizard walking next to me





I followed the lizard and it went inside a hole in a corner of the pool. In this place are many of them but it's not so easy to see them.

At 6 pm they closed the pool and we went back to the house. All the girls started to take shower and get ready for dinner. I did their make up and helped my mom to paint her hair. This woman was the whole weekend losing everything, even a gift for one of us!!! we had to help her to find it We made fun of her losing everything, and also because she has so much expired food. My sister and I threw everything in the trash while mom kept saying "that is fine to eat". Really she is very hard to hold, and she is just 63 years old, I can't imagine how hard it will be in few more years.
After I helped mom, I took a shower and I did my best to look decent. I was tired and feeling sick, it was difficult to breathe because the nasal congestion.

Flor and I tried a lot of selfies until we got one pretty decent and funny, she is beautiful, is not her? Martu never join us to take pics. 




Dinner was a delicious meat with orange sauce and salty pancakes tower that my sister cooked from and old recipe that my grandma used to cook always. It was very nice to eat it again. 
At midnight we toast and opened our gifts. My sister never spend money on gifts so she gave me a fashion key ring. I expected nothing from her because she is saving money for my niece 15th birthday. From Martu and Flor I got jewelry and a succulent plant for my mini plants collection!!! Mom gave me a blue blanket which seems will look fine on my bedroom. Everybody liked the gifts that I got for them so I am happy 

I went to the bed at 3 am, feeling very sick and tired.

Since it's December I'm trying to get the Christmas mood. I need to get some gifts for relatives so after work I went to a store to get a diary for Martu because she wants one. Another thing she wants is a pencil case and I'll see what other things I can get for her. I also bought some bags to put gifts inside.  




I think I'll give to Flor some clothes, she needs nice clothes to use for work so it can be a useful present. As usual I have no idea what to get for my mother... she has literally everything what she needs or she wants and more so it's very hard to get something for her 

Not sure what I'll get for my sister and my niece this year although they never give anything to anyone.
I'll dress the tree this weekend, I don't know for what because nobody will give me anything except my mother if we spend Christmas together, but I like the lights.

I didn't write yesterday because I was busy playing with the tablet!
It was the second day of the phase 2. For breakfast I had again a spinach omelet with eggs white. I need to find another breakfast for this phase. I had the same snacks than the day before yesterday: chicken soup, chicken, eggs white. Lunch was grilled pork chops, adzuki and mung beans.

It was a quiet day at work. When I ended my lunch the delivery came and I got my tablet... Yes, one day earlier!!!!  I opened the box and checked if everything was OK. They sent me the black cover which is good. I got the Bluetooth headphone, the stylus pencil, film, charger and wires.

I installed some application while I worked and messed a little with it. After work I went to the beauty shop to buy my favorite hand cream, I bought 2 to get discount   I also bought a blue eyeliner.

For dinner I had grilled chicken and nothing else, I was not so hungry.

 Today I went to work. My boss, her daugther and sales manager were again on meeting. At some point they called me and made me join them. We worked in a new price list and we talked about other topics. they spoke about the smelly guy and my boss wanted move him back to my office. Then I had to talk about what everybody speak from behind (even sales manager) but no one says to my boss. I said to her they need do something about his smell... she said "ah... I smell it but I was not sure if it was him". She asked if this is because smoke or because lack of hygiene and I had to say to her it is because he doesn't take shower.

I really felt so bad talking about it, and I explained to her I feel ashame to say something to him , and the only I was able to do is saying to him to do therapy because is lack of hygiene is because depression. But someone needs to talk with him because he meets customers.... I really felt like shit doing that but i hold his smell 9 hours every day for 5 years and it become worse and worse, I can't hold it anymore and this is not fair I have to work in this situation. 


Another thing I had to do today is saying to my boss about a coworker who makes deals with the ex seller and ex sales manager who stole us money. I got a proof and it was my obligation to show it to her. When I showed the proof to her, sales manager said that another seller warned him about this situation. She will fire him. The accountant was there, for what they were talking I could understand they were evaluating before how much money cost to fire him, and they already know how much it cost to fire the smelly guy.  I wonder if they thought about fire me too.

Today Michael got his bday gift. I'm happy because he loved it. He says the bag is bigger than he thought and it has plenty of space to carry his laptop and all his stuff. He already moved his stuff from the old bag to the new. The quality is very good and he says it's very comfortable to wear. The bag has a lot of compartiments. The compartment for the laptop is checkpoint friendly and it can hold a 18" laptop. The zippers are very sturdy. In the middle it has divided pocket where you can put a lot of stuff, books, papers, etc. The first compartment has spots for pendrives, memory cards, keys, pencil, etc and outside it has hiden spots where you can hold a water bottle. He is happy with his gift

When he sent me the pic I almost get mad thinking the bag had a bad spot but it was from Michael hands, they were hot. 

Mike got back the box he sent me 6 month ago with the make up he got for me. I told him better he keeps it and he gives me next time we be together. He could not help and he shows me the make up he bought. I didn't want he shows me because I like the surprises but he was so excited about the gift!! I can't wait to try it

I had a quiet and nice Christmas. I went upstair to mom's flat and we have dinner together. It was meat with potatos and some sauce. To drink we chose Champagne. Kitty was playing with the head of some doll, he is so cute. I really want a cat but to have one I need keep the windows and balcony closed to the cat doesn't jump and I don't want keep all closed.
We spoke random things about work, men, family, etc. At midnight we had toast then we went to the balcony to see the fireworks. Ppl burned fireworks for almost 40 minutes. Was really nice to see.
I stayed there till 2am then I came back home and Mike started to teach me how to play Magic Cards. At 5am I went to the bed and I slept till 3pm.

I wanted to do some nails design to Christmas but the white nailpolish I bought is very very poor quality and this doesn't dry. I got pissed about this and I had to change my design

Of course I didn't get the Christmas gift that Michael sent me yet. It will take at least 2 months more to Customs decide give me it. Mike is pissed about this, sadly I'm resigned to things work in this way in this stupid country. I got a new bag wich I like so much! is big so I can carry all my shit there.



And this is my Xmas tree wich I don't like this year because I had to use multicolor lights, so I didn't decorate it with love

Mike got the gift for xmas! When he got home he told me "baby, I got a present!!!" I'm very happy because delivery from eBay sent it very fast and shipping was free!!!. Conversely I will not get my box until 2 or 3 months because Customs here works sooooo sloooowly and when they give me the box that Mike sent to me I have to pay taxes... it will be like 60 usd or more (50% of the total price). They give a shit if this is a gift that someone send to me, but Mike was so excited about getting make up for me that I don't care if I have to pay taxes for it. He really did it with love and every day he asks to me if I got my box. Mike spoil me so much and I love it

I got a coffeemaker to make the coffee I bought in Florida. It is a basic coffeemaker but enought for me.
